#NetzAmbulanz: Immediate help in case of attacks
From the fall semester of 2022, all employees of the University of Bern will have access to the #NetzAmbulanz emergency help service from #NetzCourage free of charge. The #NetzAmbulanz can be called upon in the event of hate speech that is related to work at the University of Bern. Support may include the following:
- Contact point in case of digital violence around the clock.
- Monitoring social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube) and dark social (Telegram)
- Taking over accounts in the event of violent attacks, "cleaning" profiles (blocking, deleting), always with guaranteed confidentiality
- Contacting perpetrators if necessary
- Psychosocial counseling, coping strategies, psychological hygiene for victims
- Report posts on Facebook / Twitter in a coordinated manner, have hate speech removed
- Organize counter-speech and implement in a coordinated manner / Lovestorms
- If necessary, documentation of entire shitstorms that can be used in court
- Assessment of the legal situation together with the legal service of the University of Bern
